Upgrading from Guest to Client

I registered as a guest and have now opened an account. How can I view my accounts with my existing User Name and Password?

If you have already registered as a guest, you can upgrade your guest User Name and Password by going to Guest Upgrade Registration to view your accounts. You will be asked for your 13-digit account number (available on your statement), the Social Security Number and the Mother's Maiden Name for the person who receives statements. Can I view my portfolio immediately after registering online for account access?

Yes, your position information will be available to view immediately after registering online. I am a client and do not want to provide my account information online. Can I register on smithbarney.com through a different method?

We offer a paper enrollment process for clients who do not want to register online.Please complete the PDF application: Client Application and Authorization Form. After you return this form to your Financial Advisor advisor, you will receive a temporary User Name and Password through the mail in separate envelopes with instructions on how to use smithbarney.com.This process is also available to certain account types that may not register online, such as Trust Accounts.
