Unit Investment Trusts

Smith Barney offers a wide array of equity and fixed income unit investment trusts (UITs) from four leading sponsors: Advisor's Asset Management, Claymore Securities, First Trust Portfolios and Van Kampen. Whatever your investment goal, a UIT may offer you a way to pursue your investment needs. Portfolios are professionally selected by the trust sponsor and adhere to a "buy and hold" strategy of investing in portfolios that follow a stated investment objective.
