Why should I use it?

Total View allows you to get a single consolidated dashboard view of your finances. In one view you can automatically manage and track your accounts. Just add your online banking, credit, investment, and rewards accounts from over 10,000 supported online financial institutions.

Benefits include:

  • One-click data updates so you can see your recent account balances
  • Automatic categorization of your transactions
  • Ability to view and reconcile your banking, credit, and investment transactions
  • Budgeting tools that allow you to see where you’re spending your money
  • E-mail alerts that tell you when bills are due, account balances are low, and when large transactions have been made in one of your accounts

What is adding an account?

In order to experience the full benefits of Total View, you can add your online banking, credit card, investment, and rewards accounts from a financial institution to your Total View profile. Total View uses your credentials to log in to your financial institution’s Web site and retrieve your transactions and balances. This does not mean that you are adding a new account with your financial institution, but rather adding your accounts to the Total View tool.

Confidentiality, integrity and security of financial and personal data are of paramount importance to us. The transmission of data is protected using industry recognized encryption standards, such as 128-bit encryption. Users' passwords are transmitted and stored in encrypted format.

Will I need to download any software?

There is no software to download or install. You can access Total View from your computer connected to the Internet.

How does "Share with FA" work and what are the benefits?

If you elect to "Share with FA", your Financial Advisor advisor will be able to view all the banking and investment accounts you have added to Total View. Details unrelated to investments, such as credit card statements or awards points, will not be displayed to your FA.

The advantage of sharing Total View is that you and your FA can work together to consider your financial picture you create on Total View.

You will be asked if you want to Share with FA the first time you log in to Total View, and subsequently you will be able to change your preference from within Total View.
